The series consists of two volumes of cause books. The first volume (container 830771-0001) includes records of proceedings from the Fort George, and later the Prince George, Small Debts court between 1913 and 1966. Entries for the year 1954, however, are limited. The second volume (container 880340-0329) is a cause book for proceedings in Prince George Small Debts Court before Magistrate P.J. Moran in 1954. The volume includes numerous attachments relating to cases, e.g., notices of payment.

Series consists of Prince George court record books for 1943-1954. Records include a clerk's minute book for Supreme Court, County Court, and Chambers cases heard in Prince George from October 1946 to August 1954 and two Magistrate's record books for cases heard before Police Magistrate P.J. Moran, 1943-1952, and Stipendiary Magistrate George Hallett, 1943-1952. Also included is an index for a Creditor's Relief Act record of certificates of claim. The index includes only one Supreme Court entry: no. 94/52, McKenzie White and Dunsmuir, claimant, and Robert Jones, debtor.
