The item consists of a photograph album created by E.A. Weir and E.W. White in 1911-1912 to accompany their report on the subject of the agricultural survey they made of British Columbia from Prince Rupert to Fort George.
There are 293 black and white photographs in the album, each with dates and titles. The order of the album follows the order of their journey. Some of the photographs have been pasted together in twos or threes to form panoramas. The images show the country through which the men traveled, focusing on crops, farm animals and fruit trees. They also show settlements and settlers and transportation routes.
