Volume 1 also includes the 1862 constitution of the Congregation Emanuel of Victoria, a typed transcription of the constitution, and lists of firefighters in Victoria in 1861-1862, under the following companies: Union Hook and Ladder Company, no. 1; Deluge Engine Company, no. 1; and Tiger Engine Company, no. 2.

The series consists of naturalization applications and oaths of allegiance issued by the Victoria County Court between 1859 and 1917; 1926. They are arranged numerically by file number from 1 to 4118 and include oaths of allegiance from 1859 to 1865 and applications and oaths from 1871 to 1917; 1926. The files may also include oath of residence and certificates of naturalization.

Series consists of Vernon County Court registers of naturalization indexes, as well as of one register of naturalization certificates, oaths of residence, and oaths of allegiance for 1893-1973. Index registers typically provide applicants’ names, addresses, occupations, and nationalities, as well as the date of application filing, date of naturalization hearing, whether the application was approved or rejected, the date the papers and certificate were sent, the certificate number and any other remarks. Naturalization records 583 to 638 include multiple naturalization forms providing details of name, previous residence, current residence, occupation, and length of time spent residing in Canada.

All indexes are arranged alphabetically.

The series consists of transcripts of proposed and draft agreements between the Syndicate and the Government of British Columbia regarding terms and conditions of settlement.

The series consists of Revelstoke County Court naturalization records from 1890 to 1919. They are arranged in folders by year and each folder has monthly slips dividing the files, with the names of those naturalized that month. Each person file contains the oath of residence and the oath of allegiance (form A) as well as a naturalization certificate (form B). In some cases, an individual file may also contain other documents such as letters of recommendation. Naturalization is the process through which immigrants acquire Canadian citizenship.

Series consists of 1880-1944 indexes for Revelstoke County Court naturalization case files found in GR-2416 (1890-1919). Naturalization is the process through which immigrants acquire Canadian citizenship. Volume 1 also begins with an undated bench book for at least one criminal case, Rex vs. [Serianni], (six pages). The judge is unknown.

Naturalization index entries are arranged alphabetically and can include: solicitor; name; current residence; former town and country; possible change in name; date of filing; date of hearing; and date granted.

This series contains records from the Returned Soldiers' Aid Commission. It includes documents of the provincial government agency established in 1919 to assist with the resettlement of Canadian and Imperial war veterans. Papers include correspondence with various ex-servicemen's associations, reports on military hospitals, and accounts regarding war services gratuity payments.

The RSAC papers consisted principally of three large files:
-"25F" series - files pertaining to veterans of the Canadian armed forces
-"35I" series - files dealing with veterans of the Imperial armed forces resident in British Columbia
-"50" series - files pertaining to local branches of the Provincial Returned Soldiers' Commission and other veterans' associations

The papers also include records pertaining to War Services Gratuity payments, account books, cancelled cheques, reports, and correspondence concerning veterans' training, employment, and land settlement schemes.

The RSAC papers were microfilmed by the Provincial Secretary's Department in 1956. The microfilms were transferred from the Central Microfilm Bureau to the Provincial Archives of British Columbia in 1983.

Originally, the RSAC papers also included documents which were designated "R" series files. These files have yet to be identified. Although a card index to the files was included when the papers were filmed in 1956, the documents themselves appear to have been destroyed.

This series consists of a record of Japanese and East Indian people entering British Columbia.

The series consists of a Quesnel County Court naturalization register for 1914-1977. The ledger is arranged alphabetically and entries provide the full name of applicants, their occupation, former place of residence, current place of residence, the date notice and papers were filed, the date naturalization certificate was issued, the date it was delivered, and to whom it was delivered. Places of residence include Quesnel, Cottonwood, Moose Heights, Wells, Hixon, Barkerville, and Van Winkle. The register also includes a “declaration of intent” list tucked into the front cover.

Series consists of eight volumes of records from the Department of the Provincial Secretary for 1872-1905, 1911, and 1913. Volumes include a record of naturalization for Lillooet as well as vital event (birth, marriage, and death) registers and indexes.

Series consists primarily of Vernon County Court plaint and procedure books for 1897-1958. Volume 1 also includes a naturalization list for 1900-1914 and a Small Debts Court cause book for March 1944. Volume 2 includes County Court sessions held at Hedley during 1910-1913.
