Series consists primarily of Vernon County Court plaint and procedure books for 1897-1958. Volume 1 also includes a naturalization list for 1900-1914 and a Small Debts Court cause book for March 1944. Volume 2 includes County Court sessions held at Hedley during 1910-1913.

The collection consists of films and sound recordings accumulated or created by James M. Bogyo in his work with Rayonier Canada and the British Columbia Power Commission. The films depict logging on Vancouver Island and the activities of the BC Power Commission. The sound recordings include speeches about the Columbia River Treaty at Northwest Power Convention meeting in Victoria, April 1962; an interview on the building of Bella Coola road; and interviews with Hugh Keenleyside and Jim Cordy.
This series contains the records of the Industrial Inquiry Commission on Electrical and Plumbing Industries. The commissioners, H. Carl Goldenberg (chairman), E.A. Jamieson and George A. Wilkinson, were appointed to inquire into the circumstances and merits of the disputes between various employers, employers' association, employees and unions engaged in the plumbing and pipe-letting industry and the electrical industry of British Columbia. The series consists of a photocopy of a single page majority report signed by Goldenberg and Jamieson in which they recommended a wage increase. Attached is a copy of a two page minority report by Wilkinson in which he disagreed with the recommendation of his fellow commissioners.

These submissions were not suitable for the anthology, British Columbia: A Centennial Anthology, but because of their historical content they were loaned to the Provincial Archives for microfilming. Contents include submissions by 11 people on a wide range of subjects. There are 3 manuscripts and 18 transcripts, mostly reminiscences of pioneers, and people recording family history information.
This microfilm contains submissions to the British Columbia Centennial Anthology editorial committee. These submissions were not suitable for the anthology, British Columbia: A Centennial Anthology, but because of their historical content they were loaned to the Provincial Archives for microfilming before they were returned to their authors or sources.
The fonds consists of private papers and business correspondence, early reconnaissance and timber cruising reports for areas in the North Cariboo and Chilcotin, and photographs.
The series consists of civil cause books from the Vernon Supreme court covering 1901-1916 and 1954-1958. Cause books provide details such as the name of parties involved, the names of their solicitors, nature of the claim and a listing of proceedings in the case. Subjects include a variety of financial matters, divorces, probates and estate administration, adoption orders, and other civil cases.
Volume one does not include an index, and several files are noted to be “from Vancouver registry.” Volumes two and three have indexes. Volume two has two separate indexes: a large index at the front of the volume and a smaller separate index tucked in the front cover of the volume. These two indexes have overlapping information, but some information may be unique to each index.

The fonds consists of speeches, articles, correspondence and annotated books of Helen Gregory MacGill pertaining to her career as a judge and reformer; publications of her first husband, F.C. Flesher; and correspondence and notes of Elizabeth (Elsie) Gregory MacGill pertaining to her book, "My Mother, the Judge."
Series consists of indexes from 1954-1958 for coroners' inquiries and inquests found within GR-1502, GR-1503, GR-1504, and GR-1726. Inquiries are typically conducted by a single coroner and usually consist of a single form. Inquests (or inquisitions) are investigations in which a coroner's jury rules on the cause of death.
The fonds consists of Gordon Dubberley's photographs of the wood processing plant, of employees, and of community activities at Woodfibre, B.C. The photographs were taken between 1948 and 1958.
The series consists of subject files of the Family Services Division including correspondence and reports on many programs, such as Mother's Allowances, and institutions, such as the Vancouver Preventorium. The files also include correspondence of the Director of Welfare.
The Family Services Division was established within the Social Assistance Branch of the Department of the Provincial Secretary in 1944 to provide service in cases in which no financial aid was required.
