The item is three reels of film out-takes from 1971. It contains aerial footage of the interior of Vancouver Island, especially Della Falls and vicinity, shot from a helicopter. The first two reels, shot when snow was on the ground, feature dramatic high-angle shots of mountain peaks, sheer cliffs, river gorges, the falls, water draining from a mountain-top snow field, a large lake, and large log booms; there is also a sequence showing the helicopter sitting on the snow while a man walks nearby. The third reel covers the same ground, but with no snow visible, and with the helicopter flying considerably lower over the rivers, etc. This footage may be out-takes from footage shot for the BC government travelogue "Island Eden."

Includes footage of speed chopping, pole climbing, pole sawing, log rolling, bucking, and axe-throwing, as well as shots of the crowd and of children cooling off in the log-rolling pond. This footage was selected from the out-takes of the BC government travelogue "Island Eden."

The item is a film reel of unedited out-takes from 1975. It contains footage of the 1975 Abbotsford Airshow. Includes team aerobatics demonstrations by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds (flying the T-38 Talon) and the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds (flying the CT-114 Tutor); solo aerobatics by various single-engined monoplanes and biplanes; fly-pasts by a Vulcan bomber (of the RAF) and an Aurora maritime patrol aircraft; a demonstration fire retardant drop by an airtanker; a Canadian Forces search and rescue team rappelling from a Labrador helicopter; exhibitions by parachutists and a wing walker; static displays of aircraft on the tarmac; and crowd shots.

The item is a film reel of out takes from the 1970s. It contains extensive footage of cattle being rounded up and herded at the Douglas Lake Ranch. A very large herd is seen in both long shot and extreme close-up, often in falling snow. Several mounted cowboys escort the herd.

The item is a film reel of unedited footage from ca. 1971 to 1973. It contains extensive footage shot from and of gliders, probably in the Fraser Valley near Hope. Includes a hundred-foot segment that probably shows the remnants of the abandoned settlement of Walhachin. The ghost town footage included in this reel resembles the brief "Walhachin" sequence in the travelogue "Mirrors to the Sun", so this reel probably consists of footage shot for that film.

Not a travelogue per se, but a look at the quality and pace of life in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii), with scenes satirizing the behaviour of an uninformed visitor, "Joe Tourist." Footage of Haida carvers and their work (jewellery and argillite carvings), beaches, an abandoned whaling station, a shipwreck, aerial views, general scenery.

The item consists of a composite print of a nature film, made from 1957 to 1962. A fictional narrator uses motion picture camera to track big game in Tweedsmuir Park and Cassiar district. Subjects include mountain caribou, mountain goats, grizzly bear, California bighorn sheep, whitetail deer, elk, stone sheep, moose and Osborn caribou.

The item is a print of a promotional film from ca. 1965. Newton Phillips Steacy, Commissioner at BC House in San Francisco, California, is shown around and about the city promoting British Columbia.

Steacy proposed a promotional film about the work of the Commissioner and British Columbia House in San Francisco. He was to write the script, and some black & white footage was shot. The film was never completed. This reel (a copy?) has been supplemented with miscellaneous colour footage from various BC productions, to provide opening and closing titles.
