The series consists of original civil orders created between 1900 and 1947 by the Grand Forks Supreme Court registry. Orders are the formal expression of the ruling of the court. Records relate to a variety of civil matters including divorces, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and some adoptions.
Daily journal from 1899-1904 of an unidentified policeman stationed in Cranbrook, including information on arrests made. According to Public Accounts, Constable F.R. Morris was stationed at Cranbrook during this time period. The inside cover of the book (not microfilmed) states "property of Mrs. Doris Evans, Cranbrook BC"

Certificates of Improvement, numbers 1-95, with duplicate numbers 17, 36, 75, 77-79, at the front, for the West Kootenay District showing statement of, and witnesses to, the required improvements being completed, prior to the issuance of a Crown Grant. Information includes the names of the occupier and the witnesses, the number of the pre-emption claim, legal description and geographical location of the land, and the dates of the pre-emption claim and the completion of Improvements. An alphabetical index is included in this volume.
Bench books of the Revelstoke District Police Court and the Revelstoke Police Court in the hand of W. Maxwell (Stipendiary Magistrate) [with entries by J. Lee (Stipendiary Magistrate) in July 1929 and July 1930 and in 1947 there is a Juvenile Court note in an unknown hand]. There are also entries from Magistrate's Court (Malakwa), 1927; Police Court at Malakwa, 1927, Police Court at Sicamous, 1928, Police Court at Arrowhead, 1928 and 1931 and Juvenile Court, 1934, 1938-1941, and 1947.
The series consists of orders created by the Grand Forks Supreme Court registry between 1900-1949. Between 1900 and 1922, the orders relate to a variety of civil matters such as loans and mortgages, debts, guardianship of minors, and estate matters, including probates. Beginning June 1922, records are probate orders only.
Records are arranged chronologically and were assigned file, volume, and folio numbers by the court registry. An alphabetical index by last name is included within both bound volumes of records.
Registrar's record book of the Revelstoke County Court from 1939-1967. Primarily it is in the hand of the Registrar of the County Court/Clerk of the Court. It includes civil, chambers and two appeals, one in 1948 and one in 1959. There is one entry from the Revelstoke District Police Court in 1941. In mid-1963, Judge Eric P. Dawson has used-this volume as a bench book, signing his name at the end of each case. There are occasional Supreme Court entries from 1941-1952; some are stroked out with the notation : "Notes transferred to assize notebook" [GR-2194].
Civil case files, 1912; 1916, 1918-1942 with the exception of probate/estate files (GR-2221) and naturalizations (GR-2712) which have been removed from this series and are filed separately.
Civil case files. This collection includes appeals and naturalizations. Use plaint and procedure books (GR-2137) to obtain file numbers for these case files.

Judgements. Box 1, file 1 contains a handwritten list giving plaint numbers, the style of cause (up to 50/30), and the documents retained as well as the plaint numbers for files which were approved for destruction.
The series also consists of a judgment in the case of Elizabeth Graham v. A. Folden and Elizabeth Folden (82/1919) that was signed and filed in 1926.
