Llewelyn Bullock-Webster papers

Llewelyn Bullock-Webster (1879-1970) was an actor, playwright, producer and civil servant.

Records include general correspondence, including family correspondence, 1912-1959; diaries, 1916-1961; notebooks and personal notes re adjudication of plays; scripts and rough drafts of plays; addresses and speeches re theatre in British Columbia; collected plays by other playwrights; and selected publications.

About 1 cm of textual records was found in an archivists' working files in 2025. They include pamphlets related to the Victoria Drama School, artiste's records and biographical data related to L. Bullock-Webster, lists of plays, correspondence, and other records. They were added to box 25 as file 6.

The series consists of Magistrate's record books for cases heard before Police Magistrate P.J. Moran, 1943-1952, and Stipendiary Magistrate George Hallett, 1943-1952. The series also includes a clerk's minute book for Supreme Court, County Court and Chambers cases heard in Prince George from October 1946 to August 1954.
