The fonds mainly consists of Stanley Fox's own films, including the originals for "Suite Two: A Memo to Oscar" (1947, with Dorothy Burritt) and "In the Daytime" (1949-1950, with Peter Varley). The fonds also contains a video copy of some of Fox's earliest footage and shorter films. Also included are two reels of the three-reel documentary film "[Tropical Valley expedition]" (1931), which Mr. Fox purchased at an auction in Victoria.

Fonds consists of mulitmedia records documenting Ida Halpern's professional work and private affairs of her life in Canada. The records document predominantly Halpern's study of the art and culture of First Nation's communities on the West Coast of British Columbia. In particular, Halpern's studies focus on the musical traditions and cultures of First Nations communities. Halpern's recordings include music from the Kwakwaka'wakw peoples, Nuu-chah-nulth peoples, Haida peoples, and the Coast Salish peoples. There is also a considerable amount of textual material concerning Halpern's study of her recordings and publication of her conclusions on her work. Material from her writings as a music critic and supporter of local arts comprises a smaller portion of the fonds. There are also records of Halpern's private affairs in the form of correspondence, photographs and various ephemera.

Aluminum Company of Canada fonds
The fonds comprises videotape copies of eight promotional, documentary or general-interest films produced for the Aluminum Company of Canada (or its successor, Alcan Canada Products) in the years 1951-1979. They depict the history, development and operations of the Kitimat project, including the Kenney Dam, the Kemano power plant, power transmission lines, Kitimat smelter, and the town and port of Kitimat. Four of these titles were made by Lew Parry Film Productions; two were produced by Crawley Films Ltd.

There are also photographs (including two albums) created or collected by Mona (Olsen) Billwiller and Paul Werner Billwiller documenting Britannia Beach, Townsite (including views from above), mine, staff, social and school activities, office buildings, houses, slide at Jane Camp; Empire Mine, Port McNeil, June-July 1958, 1964-65 (all photographs identified by P.W. The fonds consists of a notebook listing in alphabetical order mining claims surveyed in Ainsworth, Slocan, Nelson, Trout Lake, East Kootenay and Goat River Mining Divisions as well as a letterbook of correspondence from 1902-1904, and scrapbooks containing photographs, programmes, military certificate and invitations. Surveys of mining claims were conducted by Holmes, Charles Moore, and F.W. Groves.

The fonds consists of collected material created by or pertaining to Archibald Menzies. It includes a microfilm copy of Menzies' journal written on Captain George Vancouver's voyage to the Northwest Coast, as well as correspondence (inward and outward), two miniature portraits of Menzies and his wife, as well as other miscellaneous documents. The textual records found in accession 77-069 are largely illegible, but may all relate to a diploma awarded to Richard Menzies in 1769 or the material in A/A/90/M52. The fonds also includes Menzies' signet ring with his seal and the motto "Will God I Shall.'
