Includes footage of ranches, highways, small communities, the restored Gold Rush town of Barkerville, Bella Coola, Mount Waddington, Williams Lake stampede (bronco riding, bull riding, wild horse race, calf-roping), Anahim Lake Stampede, the region's distinctive rail and snake fences, back roads, fishing, foliage, dude ranches, travel by light plane, autumn scenes.

Highways to splendor

It depicts a scenic trip on the "Queen of Prince Rupert" from Kelsey Bay to Prince Rupert introducing such destinations as Vancouver, Victoria and the Cariboo.
