The item is a composite print of a nature film made from 1957-1962. A fictional narrator uses motion picture camera to track big game in Tweedsmuir Park and the Cassiar district. Subjects include mountain caribou, mountain goats, grizzly bear, California bighorn sheep, whitetail deer, elk, stone sheep, moose and Osborn caribou.

The item is an answer print of a film travelogue from 1980. The film highlights the Thompson and North Thompson regions, the Yellowhead and the Rockies, approaching from Vancouver via the Fraser Canyon. Footage includes white water rafting, Nicola Valley cattle ranching, fishing, Kamloops, North Thompson Overlander Raft Race, Wells Gray and Mount Robson Provincial Parks, Shuswap Lake, Three Valley Gap, Canyon Hot Springs, Rogers Pass and mountain climbing.

This film was produced by the Ministry of Tourism to replace the externally-produced "Majesty of water". Footage from the latter film was used, and the original producer was credited with photography.

The item consists of film out-takes from ca. 1944. It contains out-footage, primarily from the BC Government Travel Bureau films "Kootenay West" and "Kootenay East" and includes footage of a sawmill; Nelson, including fire truck, Courthouse, and parade shots; the sternwheeler "Minto"; car ferry unloading (Kootenay Lake?), docking and loading; fishing from a small boat; scenery; recreational activities; logging and tennis.

British Columbia waters : footage

The item consists of 40 reels of unedited film footage from 1969. The film was intended to deal with the subject of water in B.C., and was shot entirely in 35mm colour for eventual theatrical distribuion. This footage comprises about 18,400 ft. in total, workprint and negative rolls. Principal photography was carried out and the footage was workprinted, but the film apparently never progressed to the editing stage.

Kettle Valley

The item is a reel of unedited footage, from ca. 1982. Shot from a railcar travelling along the old Kettle Valley Railway line, this footage shows various trestles and tunnels on the line.

Kokanee of Meadow Creek

The item is a composite print of a documentary film from 1968. It shows the rehabilitation of the Kokanee fishery following the construction of the Duncan dam. Premier W.A.C. Bennett is seen at the dam's opening on August 17, 1967.

'Ksan

The item consists of nine unedited film elements of a travelogue made between 1968 and 1973. It tells the story of 'Ksan, a restored Gitskan village near Hazelton which officially opened in 1970 as a centre for Indigenous culture, arts and crafts.

The item is a composite film print of a travelogue made between 1973 and 1976. It focuses on the Cariboo-Chilcotin region, with an introductory section on the history and exploration of the region. Includes footage of ranches, highways, small communities, the restored Gold Rush town of Barkerville, Bella Coola, Mount Waddington, Williams Lake stampede (bronco riding, bull riding, wild horse race, calf-roping), Anahim Lake Stampede, the region's distinctive rail and snake fences, back roads, fishing, foliage, dude ranches, travel by light plane, autumn scenes.

It depicts a film journey retracing the 1862 route of the Overlanders from Jasper to Kamloops, showing the attractions along the way: wildflowers; wildlife; a snowmobile trip to Columbia Icefield; cattle ranching at Douglas Lake Ranch; Mt. Robson and Wells Gray Provincial Parks, and the three-day summer rodeo at Kamloops. Also scenes of trail riding, fishing, boating and swimming.
