Railway belt lot registers

This series contains records from the Department of the Interior particularly General Township Registers for the Coast (also called New Westminster) Division of the Railway Belt. The records are annotated by Forest Branch, ca. 1927, to show forest reserves. Vol. 1 covers W.C.M., E.C.M., and W.7th; vol. 2 covers W.6th. The registers, arranged by legal description, indicate the nature of the grant, the number, date of entry, file number, patent approval date, and name of grantee.

Consists of Dominion Orders-in-Council , 1887-1927, arranged chronologically (Box 1) and copies of legislation, published regulations and handbooks, 1922-1930 (Box 2).

Register of cancellations of pre-emption records

This series consists of two volumes of registers created by the Canadian government. Volume 1 is a register of cancellations of pre-emption records in the Railway Belt, British Columbia, 1890-1894. Volume 2 is a register recording land transactions with subagents in the Railway Belt, 1915-1922; including transactions in Enderby, Vernon, Armstrong and Salmon Arm.

This series contains copies of canceled and abandoned Railway Belt land leases issued by Canada, Dept. of Interior and canceled or reassigned by B.C. Dept. of Lands. Records include (1) leases of Westminster Power Cc., Twp. 6 and 7, Range 6 and 7, W.7.M., 1930-1931. (2) lease of A.H. Peppar, reassigned to C.H. McDonald, Sect. 29, Twp. 39, W.C.M., 1930-1932. (3) leases of Brittingham and Young reassigned to Indian River Pulp and Power Company, 1911-1946.

Cariboo district land records

This series contains the records of the Gold Commissioner, Government Agent, and Assistant Land Commissioner, Cariboo District (Quesnel). The records consist of lot registers, certificates of purchase, certificates of pre-emption, registers of pre-emptions (canceled and allowed), registers of land applications and lands purchased, register of leaves of absence granted pre-emption on active service, minute books containing lot register of lands along the route of the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, and registers of hay and pasture land leases. The series also includes townsite registers for Quesnel, Barkerville, and Wells and lot registers for some townships in the Peace River Block. Volumes 89-98 and 153-158 are oversize.
