This series consists of the records of the Commission on Health Insurance. The Commission was appointed by the government of B.C. in 1919 to study the question of maternity insurance and health insurance. Records include correspondence, proceedings and reports of the Commission and submissions to the Commission. There is also a small quantity of correspondence relating to the distribution of the report.

The commission was appointed in 1929 to study the question of health insurance and maternity benefits. Records include working papers, exhibits, reports of the commission and submissions to the Commission.

Hannington, was appointed to inquire into the management and operation of the Vancouver General Hospital. The records include the original report and transcripts of evidence presented at the proceedings.

This series contains briefs submitted to Royal Commissions. It includes briefs on four main topics: the first is the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the use of Pesticides and Herbicides (1973). It includes photographs that have been pasted within. The second brief concerns the Royal Commission on Forest Resources (1975) specifically in regards to Pest Management: a neglected aspect of the Forest-Tenure Policy and Agreements by N.E. Alexander and J.H. Borden. The third is a brief submitted to the Royal Commission on Forest Resources in 1975, and lastly the series also contains a submission to the Royal Commission on the British Columbia Railway (1977). The last set of records also includes press clippings.
