The series consists of letters from Nellie McClung to Edna Jaques, written between 1939 and 1947. McClung lived in Victoria and Jaques lived in Toronto. They are arranged chronologically in file folders from 1939 to 1947. There is also a file of undated letters and cards.
The series also includes a letter from 1973 from Edna Jaques to donor Joan Thompson regarding the McClung letters.
