Canada Magazine (London).

Indexed scrapbook, containing news-cuttings pertaining to British Columbia, compiled from British six-penny magazine, "Canada" (1908-1909). Contains articles and reports on lumbering, agriculture, education, commerce, tourism, and big-game hunting. Signed articles by Warburton Pike and Sir Clive Phillipps-Wolley included in volume.

Ferguson, Mrs. Alexander H. Victoria

The file consists of photocopies of Department of Education forms re attendance of pupils, ca. 1913-1914. The forms are signed Dorothy Bryant and include one filled out for Sumas. There is a also circular letter from Women's Suffrage Referendum Association and a circular from the Dept. of Education regarding prohibition, both dated 1916.

Nelson Seymour Lougheed records

The series consists of records created by or relating to Nelson Seymour Lougheed. Included in this series are a scrapbook of news clippings (MS-2594.1), a certificate appointing Lougheed to Minister of Lands in October 1930, and two photographs. One photograph is a portrait signed by Lougheed and dated 1924. The second photograph is a group photograph in front of the Legislature buildings, and is assumed to be of Lougheed as Minister with his staff.

Nelson Seymour Lougheed (April 16, 1882 – June 6, 1944) was a Conservative politician in British Columbia and served as an MLA from 1928-1933.

Reports on education by William Plenderleith

The file consists of two reports by William Plenderleith from 1937. The first is titled "An Experiment in the Reorganization and the Administration of a Rural Inspectoral Unit in British Columbia." The second is a typescript copy titled "Report on Education in New Brunswick", with appendices dealing with the Matsqui - Sumas - Abbotsford Administrative Area and the Peace River Plan.

Home Economics in British Columbia

The file contains a photocopy of a typescript of an article by Home Economics Branch director, Jessie L. McLenaghen, giving brief survey of the development of Home Economics in B.C. schools from 1895 to 1941. The article was intended for publication in "The School".
