The series consists of the commission appointing Hugh Archibald Maclean to investigate the Eureka, Chess, Elks, Union, Playgoers and Railway Porters Clubs (1905). Records include the Commissioner's report (1905), transcript of evidence (1905) and exhibits presented. Exhibits include six minute or record books of the Eureka, Chess and Elks clubs dated 1901-1905.

Scrapbooks

The series consists of two scrapbooks kept by Jean Snowden MacGregor, Vancouver piano teacher, containing programmes of recitals, newspaper clippings re examination results, programmes of the Vancouver Symphony, British Columbia Musical Festival, etc. Also contains notes on the first meeting, a membership list, and programme notes of the Bayreuth Musical Club, 1928.

Activity log and diary of 2nd Vancouver (Fairview) Troop, Baden-Powell Boy Scouts and other material

The series consists of "Parade Notes" (i.e. activity log and diary) of 2nd Vancouver (Fairview) Troop, Baden-Powell Boy Scouts. Photographs transferred to Visual Records accession 198202-22.

The series also consists of two typewritten packages, one dating from 1913 and the other from 1914 and believed to be from the Fairview Troop. The 1913 package consists of the lyrics to "The Camp Song" as well as an editorial, the 1913 camp diary, and a list of names and patrols. The 1914 diary includes the "Fairview Trekking Song" as well as an editorial, the camp diary, and short blurbs about particular scouts.
