Photograph depicts the corner of Government and Belleville streets during the Peace Day Parade celebrating the signing of the Treaty of Versailles which took place a few weeks before. The event was attended by some 30,000 people. This snapshot features members of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire participating in the parade. About a dozen cars carrying members of different chapters participated in the parade. The cars are decorated with laurel crowns that hang off British flags.
