Shows the selection and cutting of the tree on the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii), the carving operation at Thunderbird Park, and the presentation of the finished pole to Queen Elizabeth in London. The pole was designed and executed by Kwakiutl carver Mungo Martin.
