Item consists of one framed portrait photograph that has been hand-painted. The portrait is of two children, presumed to be the children of Kleanthes and Orsa Metro.
Series consists of photographs of the Metro family. Four of the photographs are large portraits that have been hand-painted (see item level descriptions for more detail). The other six photographs are photographic prints mounted on cardstock. Three of the photographs are exterior and interior views of the Kleanthes Metro's restaurant, Maryland Oyster and Chop House, located at 85 Government Street in Victoria, and the other three photographs are family portraits, however the individuals cannot be identified in all photographs. One of the family portraits is taken by Richard Maynard and another is taken by Hannah Maynard.
