Biographical history
Jack Bowdery, whose stage name was Jack Ammon, had a long acting career, from 1918 to 1990, during which he appeared on stage, over radio, in film and on television. His most notable radio role was on the series "Millie and Lizzie", one of Canada's first radio situation comedies. His mother, Alicia Ammon, had a similarily long and diverse acting career, some of it in collaboration with her son.

The fonds consists of scripts, publicity material, draft short stories, photographs, and audio, film and video recordings pertaining to the writing and the acting career of Jack Bowdery, who used the stage name Jack Ammon. Fonds includes the reminiscences and resumes of actress Alicia Ammon, Bowdery's mother.
