History

Percy James was born in England where he began his architectural career. He specialized in the design of hospitals and infirmaries. In 1908 he moved to Victoria, practicing until 1914 when he returned to England to join the army. He then returned to Victoria and resumed his practice. He retired in 1954. James died in Victoria in 1970.
