- Parallel titles and other title information: Title of Jimmie applied in 1961 at the time of original inventory of Newcombe collection. Jimmie was a pseudonym applied by Carr in her book Klee Wyck, to her Haida guide, William Russ.
- Statements of responsibility: This work is in Emily Carr's hand and was in her studio at the time of her death, inventoried by the executors and stamped with the ink estate stamp
- Attributions and conjectures: William Russ is the correct identity, hence the title has been changed from its earlier designation.
