Appointed under Order-in-Council, number 278, dated January 31, 1969, to cause inquiry to be made into the distribution, sale and consumption of spirituous, vinous and malt liquors, and the laws and regulations pertaining thereto. The chairman was Judge Charles William Morrow, Judge of the County Court of Yale, B.C.

Established by OIC 278 on 31 January 1969 the commission was to reference the 1952 Liquor Inquiry Commission and then further review the laws governing the distribution, sale, and consumption of spiritous, vinous and malt liquors in British Columbia. His Honour Judge C.W. Morrow was appointed chairman, Most Reverend M.M. Johnson and Edward M. Lawson were commissioners. Contains proceedings, transcripts, submissions, correspondence, reference and research materials and the commission report.
