Roll B: hiker with large pack [Phyllis Munday]; camp scene; lone hiker; cooking over a campfire; small glacier with river underneath, and hiker climbing on glacier; Phyllis Munday chipping at rocks; shots of glacier(s) and mountain peaks. Roll C: glacier, waterfall, person building a rock cairn on peak; pan of mountain peaks; girl or young woman standing in foliage and pressing flowers [?] in a book; figure at foot of glacier with ropes; woman [Phyllis Munday?] in mountaineering gear -- pack, ropes, ice axe, sun goggles -- at peak; more views of mountain peaks, glacier, valley; woman arranging evergreen boughs; figure on mountainside; figure in camp (with tent and smoky fire) near waterfall from glacier. Comprises video transfers from both safety positive (item #1) and nitrate negative (item #2) copies of the material, which was transferred to the National Archives of Canada by the British Columbia Archives in 1989. The description above is based on item #2, the nitrate footage, which is more complete. Item #1 comprises rolls C & B only, in that order. The leader on negative rolls C & B were labelled "Parks Branch roll 1" and "Parks Branch roll 2", respectively.
