The item consists of an audio disc recorded by Mildred Valley Thornton around 1950. It contains songs by Mungo Martin which are listed on the record label and in notes in accession file.
Side 1:

All songs are apparently sung in Kwakw'ala, except for the [second?] song on side 2, which is a mixture of Kwakw'ala and Tlingit.

A half track master on audio reel was made by the Archives in 1988.
