Scope and content
Photograph depicts a diorama of several specimens (raccoons) of the Provincial Museum's natural history collection photographed in the Provincial Museum, likely the location at the former Law Court, ca. 1889-1898. This negative has been manipulated (retouched), altering the side and therefore the perceived size of each side of the diorama.
There is paint or ink on the surface of the negative in the area depicting the diorama, resulting in a loss of visual information in that region.
