Obtained in Victoria in 1920s by Winnifred Race (nee Logan), teacher whom Carr met ca 1904 and for whom she was a witness at her 1908 wedding in Vancouver and with whom Carr boarded her sheepdog Billie while in France, 1910-1911.
By descent to Mrs Race's son, Mr Robert Carson Race of Manotic, Ontario.
