The charts are listed according to chart number. Multiple editions of a chart are listed chronologically according to date of edition or latest correction.
Researchers are directed first to identify the chart numbers of the desired charts using one of the Index sheets described at the beginning of the chart list, and then to use the list to identify the call numbers for the desired charts. The charts have been copied onto 105mm negatives, which are arranged in call number order in the Archives Reference Room.

This selection of archival films from the British Columbia Archives' moving images collection highlights sea journeys, ships at work, and places on the Pacific coast, especially in the Strait of Georgia and on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

The item is a reel of industrial film. It depicts the design, construction and operation of the wooden-hulled fish packer "Canfisco", whose launching coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of the Canadian Fishing Company. Includes scenes at the shipyard, in Vancouver harbour, and along the route to the northern end of Vancouver Island, where the company has a floating outpost called "Mills' Bay". Fishing boats transfer their catch to the "Canfisco", which heads back to Vancouver to unload at the company's Gore Road dock and cannery.

The series consists of 9 reels of unedited footage shot by filmmakers working under an Opportunities For Youth (OFY) grant to document archaeological projects all over British Columbia. These 9 reels record the activities of Simon Fraser University archaeology field schools in the summer of 1972. Footage shows students travelling up the coast by boat (F1992:07/001); excavations, etc., at Kwatna (F1992:07/002-005) and Kimsquit (F1992:07/007-009); work in the SFU archaeology lab; and displays at the SFU Museum of Archaeology (F1992:07/006).

The item consists of a video copy of R.F.H. Reed's ca.1932 amateur film showing a rum-running expedition from Victoria to "Rum Row" off the California coast. The video depicts details of the run made by the ship M.V. "Malahat". The tender M.V. "Hickey" is shown transferring cases of liquor to American vessels and avoiding US Navy cutters. At San Martin Island, Mexico, the "Hickey" puts in for repairs. The film was shot by Richard Francis Heurtley Reed while he was serving as an engineer on the rum-running vessel M.V. "Hickey".
