Imbert Orchard probably accumulated these copies of raw audio tracks from a film shoot for use as background sound in his CBC radio documentary "Between Ourselves : Raising the Totem"; see AAAB6607.

Scope and content

The sub-series consists of interviews and location sounds from a film (or possibly two films) about the raising of a totem pole at Massett on the Queen Charlottle Islands in August 1969.

General note

The pole raising at Masset in August 1969 was documented by film crews from CBC Vancouver (for use in an episode of "Klahanie") and from the National Film Board (for use in the NFB film "This Was the Time", 1970).
