RECORDED: Victoria (B.C.), 1942 SUMMARY: "Pop" Green's Orchestra, a five-piece dance band from Victoria, recorded in 1942 by CJVI Victoria. TRACK 1, recorded live in the CJVI studio, consists of two old-time dances followed by the band's sig;nature tune, "Last Night As I Lay on the Prairie". TRACK 2, recorded live at a Saturday night dance at the community hall in Luxton, contains two popular songs of the early 1940s -- "Somebody Else" a;nd "You and I".;
