A studio portrait taken at a photographic studio attributed to Mrs. R. Maynards Photographic Gallery, part of a number of portraits taken of the crew of the S.S. City of Kingston. It is a gelatin dry glass plate negative (5x8 inches). The studio flooring is not visible. The plain studio backdrop is visible. The following text is located on the uniform of the sitter: P.S. & S.S. Co. and U.S. Customs. This negative has been manipulated (e.g. touch-ups around the face, lips, neck, wrinkles and the eyes of the sitter).
