Biographical history

Robert Hubert Savery was born in 1902 in England. He began working for the Department of Public Works, in British Columbia, on September 1, 1944, as an Assistant Architect. In 1959, he became responsible for landscape design for the projects of that Ministry and was responsible for several notable landscaping projects in Victoria and throughout the province. He retired on February 8, 1967. Savery was also an artist. Robert Savery died in 1980.
