Scope and content

The item is a nature film. "'Wildlife of Canada, including several varieties of game birds.' . . . there is probably no way of finding out whether portions of the film were shot in B.C. Therefore, we must assume that since Oliver spent much of his time shooting in British Columbia, and since some of the animals make their homes here, it is likely that some of the province is depicted. Animals shown are the white-tailed deer; swans; "Wa-Wa", the wild goose and mate nesting; "Quoskh" or the "Night's Question", probably a loon; beavers; "Kakh" , the quill-pig or porcupine; a black bear; elk; bighorn sheep; mountain goats and moose." (Colin Browne)
