The item consists of a travelogue film made by the Brandvold family. It includes an original film showing various trips to Garibaldi Park and the construction of Diamond Head Chalet there. It also includes a print of the same film and two videocassette copies containing voice-over descriptions of the film's contents by female narrator Joan Mathews and male narrator Emil Brandvold.
The film is in three sections, showing: (1) exploratory trips in Garibaldi Park, 1941-1944; (2) the construction of Diamond Head Chalet, 1944-1947; and (3) a summer ski trip to Garibaldi Lake in June 1948 or June 1949.
