Docudrama. Made to raise Victory Bond funds for the rehabilitation of disabled veterans, this film is centred around Captain Alan Piper, who lost both hands in an army training accident and learned to manage many daily tasks with his artificial hands. He is depicted visiting other disabled vets at hospitals in Vancouver and Toronto, and the rehabilitation facilities are shown. Filmed in part at Shaughnessy Hospital in Vancouver.
