The White Pass container ship "Frank M. Brown" leaves Vancouver and sails to Skagway, where its cargo is unloaded through modern technology. The freight is shipped by rail to Whitehorse, where it is transferred to trucks for transport to various mining operations. Mining of asbestos (Cassiar), copper (Whitehorse), silver-lead-zinc (Mayo), tungsten and lead (Ross River), and iron (Snake River). White Pass's involvement: efficient tranportation, integrated equipment, and increased freight tonnages.

Industrial film. The variety of jobs performed by BC workers, and the role of the WCB in promoting safety and protecting and assisting injured workers. Includes much footage of job sites and people at work (especially miners, loggers and construction workers). Other footage includes a dramatization of an injured man being rushed to hospital by floatplane and ambulance; the International First Aid Championships, with simulated accident victims and competing industrial first aid teams; opening of the new WCB administration complex in Vancouver; scenes in the offices of the WCB; injured workers taking part in physiotherapy and other activities at the WCB's rehabilitation centre in Vancouver; sod-turning for the Leslie R. Petersen Rehabilitation Centre in Richmond. Film begins with long morning sequence of workers going to work, and includes historical background on the role of these "breadwinners" in BC's development.

The fonds consists of 128 photographs created by Ray Starr Goodwin. The photographs include pictures of Ray Goodwin and other members of the Goodwin and Green families of Kaslo, B.C. between ca. 1900 and 1920. There are images of Kaslo, of family members at home, at their summer camp at Beauty Beach on Kootenay Lake, camping at Greer's Beach (Kitsilano) and in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

There are also photographs of Kootenay Lake and other natural features around the Kootenay Lake and Kaslo area such as the Kokanee Glacier as well as photographs of steamboats, the Kaslo and Slocan Railway and various mines.
