Public affairs. Jack Webster's popular weekday morning talk show. Guests and topics for this episode are: Doug MacKay, Manager of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), discusses the district's solid waste management plan and under what circumstances solid waste may be disposed of in the Interior. Three London newspaper editors are guests on the show and discuss the UK newspaper business and share their opinions on some current political topics in the UK. The three editors are Lloyd Turner of The Star, Nick Lloyd of Daily Express, and Robin Esser of Sunday Express. In a taped video segment Webster walks along Vancouver's Granville Street and Mall with alderman Jonathan Baker who also chairs the Granville Planning Committee. They discuss urban decay of the area and some ideas for its future.
