Name of creator
William Middleton was born in England in 1865 and died in Victoria, B.C. in 1951. He worked as an artist, teacher and assistant architect in the BC Public Works Dept. between 1914 and 1931.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of correspondence, certificates, photographs and paintings of William Middleton. The photographs consist of images of family members, postcards and views of Victoria and British Columbia, views of England, and of a trip to India. The fonds also includes some out-takes or fragments of the film "Out of the Land of Lilliput", a historical documentary produced by Home Oil Distributors Ltd. in 1935.
