SUMMARY: The first item, "The Beautiful Eccentric - Erik Satie & Les Six", was the first part of Concert no. 8 at the CBC Radio Festival Of Music, recorded at the Queen Elizabeth Playhouse, September 21, 1976.; Performers included Bruno Laplante, baritone, Phyllis Mailing, mezzo-soprano, and Derek Bampton, piano. The pieces features included works by F. Poulenc, A. Honegger, L. Durey, Darious Milhaud, G. Ta;illefaire, Erik Satie, and G. Auric. The second item, "Avant-Garde Orchestral Music Of The Twenties In Paris", was the second part of the Concert No. 8, recorded on the same evening.
